Pioneer Materials, Tools and Equipment
Students are to draw a pioneer house (with an open front) (may need multiple sketches) that shows materials, tools and equipment relevant to the pioneer era as defined earlier. They are to label the drawings using relevant terminology.

Present Day Materials, Tools and Equipment
Achievement Standard
Students are to create a present day house structure using Minecraft. They are to add tools and equipment that relate to those shown in their pioneer drawing. Once finished, students are required to screenshot aspects of their minecraft structure and place in a Word Document. They are to label the pictures using relevant terminology.
TASK 3
Future Materials, Tools and Equipment
Achievement Standard
Students are to choose 2 items to compare and analyse from pioneer to present day. They then create a future version of the 2 products. Students are to represent each stage of the item with a labeled picture. They must write a paragraph on each item, discussing materials used and its role as an environmentally sustainable product. They are to label the pictures using relevant terminology.
